The deepest chalky argillaceous lands are covered with stones or pebbles; they are based on a high plateau. The traditional stones or pebbles are the heritage of the old passage of the Júcar river in this zone, it allows the drainage of rain, being the water filtered until the subsoil. In summer, these pebbles receive solar radiation and they reflect them to the clusters and thus they facilitate the insolation and homogenous maturation of the clusters of grapes.
Dry and continental with very cold winters and very warm summers. The main quality factor of the zone is the thermal differences between the day and the night that is registered during the period of maturation of the grape and allows that process to develop slowly.
